How Does Consignment Work?
In a consignment arrangement, you agree to allow MacAllister Used Power Systems to display and sell your generator or industrial engine without providing us with an upfront payment. We assume full responsibility for marketing and selling the equipment. When the sale occurs, we receive a predetermined share of the proceeds as our fee for the service and give the remainder to your company.
With consignment, you retain ownership of the goods until we finalize the transaction. If the item doesn’t sell within the designated time frame, we’ll return it to you at no additional cost.
