A factory-authorized Cat technician will complete an inspection. Steps include:
- Initial consultation and assessment: A professional technician will conduct an initial consultation and detailed engine assessment to understand the scope of the work needed.
- Engine rebuilding: We’ll disassemble the engine and repair or replace damaged parts, like connecting rods and pistons. Then, we’ll reassemble it to meet standards.
- Generator reconditioning: Cleaning the stators and baking them to remove moisture. If a stator fails to meet standards, it undergoes complete disassembly, cleaning and rewinding with new wire.
- Testing: We’ll test the serviced and rebuilt generator, confirming it performs to top standards before we return it.
